Birdsville Tourist Park offers nine budget units, three standard fully self-contained cabins, and four deluxe cabins. It also features 84 powered sites and 30 acres of unpowered campsites situated along the banks of the Birdsville Billabong.
Powered and Unpowered Sites
Birdsville Tourist Park has 84 easily accessible powered sites with water, suitable for even the largest rigs, motorhomes, coaches, and fifth-wheelers. The unpowered sites are spread over 30 acres, with options ranging from drive-through sites for larger rigs and caravans to spots for campervans and tents. These sites provide first-class camping facilities and amenities to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay. While you can usually choose your preferred setup location, it gets very busy around the time of the Birdsville Races.

Cabins
Birdsville Tourist Park offers a variety of cabins, including two, three, and five-berth en-suited options, perfect for family getaways or group stays.
The five-berth cabins feature two air-conditioned rooms and are fully self-contained with an en-suite, stove, and oven. They include one double bed and one single bed in the main room, and two single beds in the second room. Linen is provided.
The three-berth cabins are ideal for smaller families or twin share accommodation. These cabins are fully self-contained with an en-suite, stove, oven, one double bed, and one single bed, with linen included. The two-berth cabins cater to couples or solo travelers. They are fully self-contained with an en-suite, stove, oven, and one double bed, with linen provided.
For backpackers or budget-conscious travelers, the motel-style units offer air-conditioned "outback" rooms with two single beds or one double bed and one single bed. These units come with a bar fridge, coffee-making facilities, television, and full use of the camp kitchen. Although they do not have an en-suite, modern caravan park facilities are nearby.
